Dear Mama

This is me & my mama. She is the worst at taking pictures...such a fake smiler! Not that I really enjoy taking pictures, so I might get that from her. Anyway, this is her & I on Sunday at her birthday party. And I swear we didn't try to coordinate our shirts. I guess we just have the same style...which means I have come far.

My mom's 53rd birthday is on September 11. Not really a date you could forget, if you were born pre 2001, huh? I love my mom to pieces...most of the time. I talk to her like 3 times a day at least, and when all else fails...there's mom. We fight occassionally - but it's usually resolved by the end of the night when we are both sitting at home alone with our cableless TV's and have nothing better to do than talk on the phone.
