High Enough

You know you work with a bunch of overachievers when 2 of them who were supposed to go home at 5:00 are still here, and the one who was supposed to go home at 6:30 is still here. It's currently 6:53 PM as I write this. Guess what? I'm supposed to leave at 8:00. And my arse will likely be out the door at 7:59.

I have purchased my tickets (er, my dad has) for my annual trip to Seguin, Texas. I will be traveling there from March 7-13. Luckily, my brother will also be there during that time so I will get to see his bald head for a few days. Lord knows I miss me some Ryan. 15 years ago I would have rather stuck toothpicks in my eyes than to say I would ever miss my brother. Ah, how the times have changed. Mostly just because he had a lot more hair back then.

Okay, I have a bazillion things I should be doing. Like making phone calls to prospective students, listening to "The 90's on 9" on XM, putting chapstick on, drawing doodles, getting to the last drops of my iced tea and daydreaming. It's a hard life.

Oh, and if you haven't been to Angie's blog lately, you must go. Watch the video. It will make you cry your eyeballs out. I did that on Monday morning while sitting at my desk at work. It's amazing how someone you have never met can have such a profound affect on your life.
