Yesterday while we were at G&G Carrasco's saying goodbye to my dad, Chase was over there being his usual goofball Chase self. He was taking a football and boinking himself in the forehead with it. Like throwing it gently in the air and letting the pigskin fall back on him, and then cracking up. I was trying to explain to him that you don't use your forehead with footballs, but that you do with soccer balls. He proceeds to tell me - in front of everyone - "I kick them with my ass!" What does my 35 year old brother aka father of two do? Turns around so he's not looking at Chase and CRACKS UP. That's what I did too - but I'm his aunt. Even G&G Carrasco were laughing at the kid. Something about kids using profanity never gets old. Again, I stress the fact that I am the AUNT.
I saw THREE movies in 4 days. I never pay for movies, I never go to movies. All the movies that I see are kid movies: Speedracer, The Spiderwick Chronicles (I always get that name wrong), and at least a handful of other movies that I can't think of at this minute. Anyway, I just don't put out $9 for a movie. This weekend, I went to see "The Dark Knight" and it was okay. On Sunday, Roman & I wanted to go see "Step Brothers" and that was actually VERY funny. I have been disappointed with pretty much every Will Ferrell movie since Elf - but this one did not disappoint. Great humor :)
I really don't have much to report. *Yawn*
