Okay, I have gone against my own policies. My "thing" on this blog is to put song lyrics in each posting. I JUST COULDN'T DO IT TONIGHT.
I don't watch debates. Do I think the issues are important? Sure. Do I think that whomever is voted into office in 4 weeks holds our future in their hands? Absolutely. Does this worry me? Of course it does! Do I know who I am voting for? Yes. Do I need to listen to debates & watch all these commercials and hear about them on the news every hour? No.
Obviously, I am not a John McCain fan. My great-grandma could have had him in her first 1st grade class, and she's 100 now. I'm not kidding. He has said "my friends" enough times tonight that I'm ready to ram my head against a wall...or throw my remote at the tv. Why don't I change it you ask? I don't have cable, I don't have choices!
Why am I watching it? Because Angie's husband is literally FRONT ROW! Who cares if I don't know him, he's on TV!
In other non-politics related news, I had a small bump removed from my upper left arm today. I didn't like it, so I asked for them to remove it. It's called more than just "a small bump" in dermatology terms, but I didn't pay attention. Anyway, I got 3 stitches to cover the thing up and a bandage. Yeah, the bandage - from beneath my sweater- looks like they took a pantiliner and slapped some tape on that bad boy and threw it on my arm. I'm not even kidding! I took a picture of it, but with my camera cord being at work I will have to post it tomorrow. Stay tuned.
It's time to get off of here. I'm totally thinking that since there is an "Obama" doctrine and a "McCain" doctrine that I need to jump on board with the "Carrasco" doctrine. It will likely include fashion bi-laws, how not to come into my office smelling like a Christmas tree, why Flint isn't as bad as everyone thinks and how to continue improving it, and why my phone bill is more expensive than yours.
Is that not what a doctrine is about? My bad.
