The sun will come out tomorrow

I'm working 11-8 this week in a worthless attempt to catch up on telecounseling (there are 600+ calls to make to inquiries) and to sleep in during spring break. So far, it's been nice. This morning, I leisurely woke up during Regis & Kelly, got up & ready, cooked some meatballs for today's potluck, watched more of "I Am Sam" and then went to work. T'was nice. Beats most mornings when I wake up at 7:20 to be out the door at 7:40'ish.

Tomorrow on the other hand, my day starts bright & early at 8:00 so that I may be crowned. I'm getting a crown on my tooth, to the tune of $500. God Bless you, Care Credit! Where would I be without you? With no LASIKed eyes, knocked up kitties and a temporary crown on my tooth that is causing me quite a bit of discomfort, that's where I would be!

Then at 9:45 I get to go to the beloved dermatologist's office to have the bi-annual mole count. Better make sure I take a good book or magazine because that place is known to take it's dear-sweet time!

I also need to do a fasting lipid profile for Dr. to follow-up on my cholesterol. (Erin has bad cholesterol. But when she had her wellness assesment, it was down to 208 last week. OH MY ME!) It was to be done around the 18th, but being the procrastinator that I am, I haven't done it yet. The plan was to do it tomorrow.

But then I remembered today is Fat Tuesday and all the things I ate today as a part of our GP "spring fling" potluck:

-Sausage & cheese meatball
-Tabbouli
-Hummus
-Pita bread
-Fruit & dip
-Chicken salad croissant
-Brownies (yes, plural)
-MH's chocolate chip cookies (I'd guess I demolished a 1/2 dozen over the course of the day)
-A piece of dark french silk pie

And I decided my cholesterol is likely over 300, which is probably where my weight is too. Damn you, Mardi Gras!

No fasting lipid profile for me until I've literally fasted and my blood is not full of chocolate goodness.
