I am lucky to....
- Have a job worth going to every day
- Have a mother who I genuinely enjoy spending time with and calling no less than 5 times a day
- Sit in the comfort of my own home in pj pants and a tank top like I am now, with my computer in my lap listening to Rod Stewart :)
- Call this giant ogre of an animal sleeping next to me my dog. (And if this dog isn't a cuddler, I don't know what is!)
- Work with people that make me laugh and who care about me, as I care about them
- Be able to snuggle up in a nice, warm bed night after night
- Have a bachelor's degree under my belt
- Be insured
- Have three healthy nephews
- Love both my step-parents
- Have gotten the chance to wake up over 11,000 times in my life so far
- Breathe fresh air
- Appreciate good music
- Know love, but to also know loss
I'm just in the mindset of feeling grateful for things in my life. Not material things - but just the things I don't even have to think about - they are just there.
